6. 1964 chassis restoration
In for service and restoration, a 1964 chassis in pretty poor shape. Lots of rust and dust, bad wiring and incorrect components in the power supply.
The chassis was badly rusted and would need re-plating. I removed all components from the steel chassis and arranged to have it re-plated.The tag strip area needed attention and signal cables were re-routed.
The re-plated chassis looking a lot better. Reassembly with new sockets and main capacitor.
The reassembled and restored amp, looking much better, and sounding great too!
